About Corwin Consulting

Mr. Corwin offers a unique combination of strengths and versatility in both management and fundraising, arising from a 37-year career dedicated entirely to the nonprofit/public sector, holding leadership positions for more than two decades.

He has:

  • Led organizations ranging from start-ups to well-established groups. During his five-year tenure as its first full-time Executive Director, The Glaucoma Foundation doubled its income, launched many new programs, raised its national visibility, and grew the donor base tenfold.

  • Managed staffs large and small; as Chief of the New York State Attorney General’s Consumer Frauds and Protection Bureau, he supervised 100 employees statewide.

  • Succeeded in both entrepreneurial and highly structured environments.

  • Worked effectively with a wide variety of constituents, from Wall Street to indigent populations, from government to community groups and the media.

  • Accumulated experience in many substantive fields: environmental protection, health care, consumer protection, land conservation, poverty law, women’s rights, constitutional rights, race discrimination, and international human rights.
